The whole picture matters
Tell us what caused the mark, how long it has been there and any cleaning products already used. Some marks come from soil, while others involve colour loss, fibre damage or permanent staining. A photograph cannot always distinguish them.
Targeted work or a complete clean?
Cleaning one patch can make an uneven result more noticeable if the surrounding area is also soiled. Ask whether a larger section, complete room or full item would be more appropriate. The scope should be agreed before work begins.
A quote tailored to the job
Small areas still require travel, setup and assessment. Confirm the total visit price and any minimum charge rather than assuming a small mark means a small fee. You can include other rooms or furniture in your enquiry.

The aim is to discuss suitable cleaning for your item, not to guarantee that every stain will disappear. Cleaning does not repair worn fibres or reverse bleaching. Ask about likely improvement, drying and aftercare before agreeing your appointment.
